KMU PRI dalyvauja 7 BP veikloje, kaip partneriai projekte
”Efficient Patient Recruitment for Innovative Clinical Trials of Existing Drugs to other Indications”.

PONTE idėja – panaudoti senus cheminius junginius naujoms medicininėms indikacijoms.
PONTE tikslas yra sukurti kompiuterinę sistemą (platformą), kuri sujungtų įvairius matavimus ir būtų naudojama idėjų tikrinimui.

On April 29-30, 2011 Institute of Psychophysiology and Rehabilitation (IoPR) of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences have organized the 10th annual international conference “Cardiology updates: from damaged cell to rehabilitation”. Conference was held in Palanga, Lithuania. Director of the IoPR Dr.Robertas Bunevičius presented the objectives, the concept and content of the 7th Framework Project PONTE ”Efficient Patient Recruitment for Innovative Clinical Trials of Existing Drugs to other Indications”. Partners of the PONTE project Dr. Costas Pantos from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece and Dr. Giorgio Iervasi from the Institute of Clinical Physiology of the National Research Council, Piza, Italy presented plenary lectures on new concept of use of thyroid hormone in the treatment of heart failure and myocardial infarction. About 200 cardiologists, endocrinologists as well as general practitioners attended the conference.
